Bejedi’s 17 Points Lead No. 13 Florida State Women to 90-52 Victory Over Northwestern in Ball Dawgs Classic

In the Ball Dawgs Classic, Sara Bejedi scored 17 points and No. 13 Florida State easily defeated Northwestern with a score of 90-52.

Alexis Tucker contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, while O’Mariah Gordon and Carla Viegas also made significant contributions to the Seminoles.

FSU is set to face the winner of Stanford-Belmont, while Northwestern will play against the loser on Friday.

Florida State took the lead early in the game, with Tucker making an opening 3-pointer and leading a 9-0 run to establish a strong advantage. The team finished the first quarter with a score of 23-8.

Northwestern made a comeback in the second quarter with a 9-0 run, but Florida State responded with 3-pointers from Viegas and Gordon to maintain their lead.

The Seminoles displayed strong 3-point shooting, making a total of eight 3-point shots during the game.

In the fourth quarter, Bejedi scored 10 points as Florida State outscored Northwestern, leading to a comfortable victory.
