Isaacs Banks Game-Winning Shot with 0.8 Seconds Left as Texas Tech Beats UNI in Battle 4 Atlantis

In the Battle 4 Atlantis, Texas Tech defeated Northern Iowa with a score of 72-70, thanks to Joe Toussaint’s 21 points and a game-winning floater by Pop Isaacs with 0.8 seconds remaining.

The victory secured Texas Tech’s spot in the fifth-place game, while Northern Iowa will compete for seventh place.

Tytan Anderson’s 3-pointer tied the game at 70-all for UNI, but Isaacs secured the win for Texas Tech with his one-handed runner. Texas Tech’s Darrion Williams and Nate Heise of UNI also made significant contributions to their respective teams.

Isaacs finished with 18 points and four 3-pointers, and Toussaint reached double-digits for the fifth straight game. Darrion Williams had 10 points and nine rebounds, and Cambridge added 10 points and eight rebounds for Texas Tech.

Nate Heise scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds for UNI. Anderson added 14 points and Bowen Born scored 11.

Northern Iowa initially led with a 40-31 score at halftime, thanks to Heise’s 3-pointer.
