In a thrilling finish, David Montgomery’s 1-yard touchdown run with 29 seconds left secured a 31-26 comeback win for the Detroit Lions against the Chicago Bears. Despite Jared Goff’s three interceptions and a 12-point deficit, the Lions overcame the odds to claim victory. Justin Fields, making his return after a month, played well but ultimately fell short in leading the Bears to victory. The NFC North-leading Lions are now 8-2, while the Bears are 3-8. The Lions will face Green Bay next, while the Bears will play against Minnesota. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in attendance and was booed, and there were injury concerns for D’Onta Foreman and C Lucas Patrick of the Bears, as well as OG Jonah Jackson of the Lions.
