The Ramblers of Loyola Chicago rallied to defeat Boston College 71-68 in a consolation game of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. Braden Norris led the charge with 20 points, including five in a closing 14-2 run. Jaeden Zackery’s two free throws put the Eagles up 66-67, but they struggled to make shots in the final minutes. Norris and Miles Rubin scored key baskets in the run, while Jayden Dawson added 14 points for the Ramblers. Both teams shot well from beyond the arc, with Loyola hitting 13 of 29 3-pointers and Boston College going 4 of 23. Norris was particularly effective, going 5 of 7 on 3-pointers. The Eagles dominated the paint with a 42-14 advantage, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Loyola’s strong shooting. After the victory, Boston College will face Vanderbilt in the ACC/SEC Challenge, while Loyola will play Chicago State at home.
