A record 45,185 tickets have been sold for the Women’s Super League derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday, potentially setting an attendance record.
The attendance could surpass the previous record of 44,259 set at the Etihad last season, depending on how many fans attend.
You can follow all the action from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, including the World Cup schedule, results, and points table. Players are competing to top the World Cup 2023 Most Runs and World Cup 2023 Most Wickets charts.
United manager Marc Skinner said, “Our players thrive in big occasions and grow in those environments. The bigger the moments, the more the players grow.”
“The women’s game has continued to develop, and fans are attending games to witness competitive performances from their favorite players.
The Reds are looking forward to seeing you this Sunday! Join us at Old Trafford for what will be a record-breaking occasion #MUWomen #WSL

Skinner added, “As a squad, we have shown that we can perform on the biggest stages – winning all our previous games at Old Trafford and competing strongly in the FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley in May. Many of our players were also involved in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand last summer.”
United, who beat City 2-1 last season at Leigh Sports Village, are currently third in the WSL standings, while City are sixth.
