Rookie Running Back De’Von Achane Cleared to Return from Injured Reserve by Dolphins

The Miami rookie running back De’Von Achane has returned to practice Monday after missing 4 games due to a knee injury. His return opens a 21-day window for him to be activated from injured reserve. Achane, who had been leading the NFL in yards per carry before his injury, rushed for 460 yards with 7 total touchdowns in 4 games. Miami’s rushing production has dropped since Achane’s injury, but the team is hopeful for his return. Injured linemen Rob Hunt and Rob Jones are both week to week but had a good week of rehab. The team is monitoring their progress in practice. Kendall Lamm, a versatile lineman for Miami, will take some practice reps at guard. The team is not expecting him to permanently switch positions anytime soon.
