The ITF Women’s World Tour starts on Tuesday, with Indian players taking all eight qualifying spots. Top-seeded Rutuja Bhosale will face fellow Indian Smriti Bhasin in the opening round of the tournament. Fourth-seeded Vaidehi Chaudhari will take on wildcard entrant Anjal Rathi in her first match, while Uzbekistan’s Nigina Abduraimova is the top-seeded player. Additionally, 11th seed Kundali Majgaine knocked out top seed Sandeepti Singh Rao, and Sonal Patil stunned second seed Sravya Shivani to enter the main round.
